Meet the Doctor
Dr. José Germán Medina, MD is an experienced orthopedic spine surgeon and sports injury specialist with a strong focus on regenerative medicine and ozone therapy. He earned his medical degree from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom and completed advanced training in Clinical Ozone Therapy at the Central University of Venezuela.
Dr. Medina has served as Chief of the Spine Surgery Unit at Loira Medical Center in Caracas, where he led specialized programs for spinal care and sports injury rehabilitation. In addition to his clinical work, he has been a Full University Professor, educating and mentoring future physicians in orthopedic medicine, spine surgery, and regenerative therapies.
His international medical experience also includes clinical and surgical practice at Larkins Community Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Medina has held several leadership roles in professional organizations, including President of the Venezuelan Society of Clinical, Integral, and Regenerative Ozone Therapy, and is an international member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Dr. Medina is the author of “Integral Ozone Therapy as an Integral Part of Medical Practice” and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is dedicated to providing innovative, evidence-based orthopedic care while advancing the field of regenerative medicine.
